Head of Marketing/Digital Marketing Leader

Full-time, Commission

Position Summary

The Head of Marketing at HighTech Lending will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of an organization’s marketing and advertising initiatives. The Head of Marketing will generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations.

Principal Duties

  • Creating a clear marketing strategy that encompasses all marketing segments.
  • Developing the company’s mid-to-long-term strategic and annual business plans.
  • Streamlining marketing process to realize cost savings across the department.
  • Analyzing current marketing strategies and implementing changes.
  • Measuring the success of marketing and creative campaigns across the business.
  • Selection of marketing agency partners and reviewing their activities.
  • Overseeing all marketing activities across the full marketing mix.
  • Maximizing opportunities for online revenue generation through multiple channels.
  • Assessing new marketing opportunities for generating business.
  • Keeping up to date with industry and technological changes that impact the business.
  • Ensuring the CRM and all marketing software is up to date and fit for purpose.
  • Setting KPIs for marketing activities across the business.
  • Overhauling the marketing department’s organizational structure.

Specific Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy
    • Collaborate with the VP of Digital Marketing and EVP of National Sales to develop and implement key digital strategies related to SEM, SEO (from a corporate perspective, as well as that of individual loan officers in their local markets), forward-thinking e-marketing tactics, and cutting-edge social media trends (organic and sponsored)
  • Graphic Design
    • Design print and digital marketing materials for corporate marketing initiatives, a library of marketing materials for B2C and B2B sales teams, and ad hoc requests from individual loan officers and account executives, including:
    • Flyers, brochures, business cards, banner ads, social media ads, display creative, web/email headers and iconography, logos, etc.
  • E-Marketing: Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Campaign Monitor
    • Write, design, and implement email journeys for inside sales and branches, create and deploy ad hoc email sends, and launch email templates in Salesforce for loan officers and account executives.
  • Social Media: Facebook and LinkedIn
    • Create organic and sponsored content for Facebook (B2C lead gen), LinkedIn (B2B prospecting), and other social media platforms as needed.
    • Write and design content as requested via ad hoc loan officer requests, often requiring video editing via Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Veed.
  • Web Management: WordPres
    • Create and update content on corporate websites/landing pages.
    • Launch and maintain dynamic microsites for individual loan officers.
    • Relaunch existing corporate websites
    • Experience with the WordPress builder Elementor is a plus.
  • Salesforce
    • Contribute marketing-related assets and insights for Salesforce projects, including:
    • Salesforce Reports, Campaign creation and management, List Email Templates, etc.
  • Analytics Reporting
    • Work with sales stakeholders and internal Salesforce resources to produce reports on:
      • SEM (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads), email, social media, and web performance.
    • Reporting tools to use include: Salesforce, Google Analytics, Excel
  • Loan Officer Support
    • Assist loan officers with marketing strategies, social media management/content creation, email marketing best practices, Google My Business listings, print and digital publication advertisements, trade show marketing assets, etc.
  • Web Hosting and Management
    • Organize, manage, and share reports for internal and external webinars through GoToWebinar and/or Zoom.
  • Ad Hoc Corporate Marketing Needs
    • Including: PowerPoint creation, present department updates on national sales calls, project management in Jira, provide marketing items needed for mobile app development, monitor inbound and outbound calls as they relate to marketing campaigns, route all marketing materials through stakeholder and legal review, organize files of approved marketing pieces to provide for state regulatory exams

Prior Education Required

  • A bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.

Prior Experience Required

  • 5 years of well-rounded marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility- with a focus on marketing expansion- as well as three to five years of experience digital, email and social media marketing.

Wholesale Account Executive

Position Summary:

HighTechLending’s Wholesale Account Executive will be responsible for meeting the Wholesale Division’s production objectives as determined by the Company. Employee will insure the highest quality of Customer Service, Compliance and Ethics in regards to any loan originations from the broker community.

Essential Duties

Aggressively prospect brokers to offer all HTL loan products

  • Market, train and present to broker client base
  • Work with Broker Approval Department on approval of Brokers
  • Work with Brokers on marketing materials
  • Evaluate level of knowledge to determine how much assistance broker needs on origination of loan packages
  • Communicate with management on broker system needs
  • Educate brokers on the benefit of becoming a HighTechLending retail branch with goal to convert to branch
  • Daily use of CRM to track all client activity
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reverse mortgage funding projection reports to management

Required Skills:

Preferred knowledge of Reverse Mortgage and Non-QM loans

  • Must currently have an active client base providing an on-going stream of loan submissions
  • Proven experience with Reverse and Forward loan origination systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Enhanced follow-up skills

  • We own a call center that feeds live transfers into the inside sales team. Every day my MLOs take at least 3 live transfers from new clients
  • Office is open 5 days a week with live transfers coming over every day
  • All leads are provided (no need for you to generate business)
  • Average close time is 21-30 days on both Refinance and Purchase loans
  • Great support staff that allows you to focus on generating more business

Inside Telemarketer

Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Agent will be responsible for making a high volume of calls to potential customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contact new and existing clients to discuss solutions we offer to assist with their difficulties.
• Answer customer questions regarding Reverse Mortgage features, etc. (not to include
Prohibited Unlicensed Activity, as described below)
• Maintain client follow-up and update contact information and notes in a database.
• Keeping notes of calls and activities and updating information in a proprietary company
• Responsible for follow-up with clients; Set new appointments for our field and Call Center
• Overcome any product or service customer related objections.
• Contribute toward individual/team efforts to meet pre-established business targets.
• Provide appropriate documentation, reports and feedback to Sales and Operation Managers to
prevent future objections.
• Carries out all reasonable requests by management of which the employee can perform.
• Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the

be discussed nor may the Inside Sales Agent take an application. Inside Sales Agent may explain
basic reverse mortgage features, goals and needs, and compliant information as allowed by law. The
Inside Sales Agent will then introduce the client to their Licensed Loan officer who will originate the

Unlicensed Inside Sales Agents are prohibited from:
• Originating loan applications, signing loan applications and/or misrepresenting they are a
licensed MLO.
• Communicating loan terms such as rate, terms, costs, fees, cash available or qualifications to
the customer.
• If a customer requests information specific to Loan Origination, they are to be immediately
referred to a licensed individual.
• Proper supervisory oversight is needed to ensure no impermissible activity is conducted.
